"An Ill Sound in One’s Pronunciation Or The Ways a Twang can Affect the Temperature of the Blood” is a new monologue about leaving your home in order to hold onto your identity, taking the best parts with you, and raising a middle finger to the rest. It’s about a wholly different kind of southern rebellion and the queerness of a well-placed dropped “g”.
